I’ve heard it all about PDO thread lifting, it’s had some bad press recently – but, when it comes to results the factors that differentiate one patient or client experience to another is Practitioner expertise, anatomy and depth knowledge, product placement and finally and very importantly managing patient / client expectations – This will almost always be the difference between a noticeable improvement post procedure or not.   

If we are being honest booking a ‘PDO Thread’ lift based on price is a flawed and dangerous practice, sadly many clients are dazzled by filtered glossy images, unrealistic promises, and discount prices.

As a potential patient / client, you should be asking yourself the following questions:

• Does the price seem too good to be true?
• If the price has been discounted, why?
• Have you been invited to an initial treatment consultation prior to the booking?
• Have you been left with confidence after making contact?
• Have all risks and recovery times been explained to you?
• Have any questions you may have been answered?

Researching potential practitioners when considering any cosmetic treatment or procedure is a vital part of the process.

Honesty is the best policy

Let’s be very clear a thread lift is not the same as a surgical Facelift (as some will try and sell it) but in the right hands a PDO Thread lift is an incredible nonsurgical temporary face lifting treatment that produces collagen, tightens loose skin, lifts to rejuvenate and restore the youthful appearance of the face and neck.

Combined with other nonsurgical modalities such as premium hyaluronic acid dermal filler or anti-wrinkle treatments a full-face nonsurgical facelift can be the bridge between the aesthetics clinic and the surgical room.
