1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions apply to all users of the CosmediCheck platform, including verified professionals and general visitors. Use of the website or platform constitutes acceptance of these terms.

2. Definitions

“CosmediCheck” – CosmediCheck Ltd

“Platform” – Website, dashboard, and listing tools

“Member” – Verified professional or business

“User” – Any platform visitor

3. Services Overview

CosmediCheck provides a directory of verified cosmetic and medical professionals in the UK. This includes:

• Manual professional verification
• Professional listings with profiles
• Digital badges and marketing assets
• Referral and promotional features
• Support and compliance monitoring

4. Registration and Membership

Applicants must:

• Be 18 or older
• Hold valid, relevant qualifications (12+ months)
• Provide full insurance and registration documentation
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date business details

Membership is not guaranteed until verification is complete.

5. Verification Requirements

Applicants must submit:

• Public liability and indemnity insurance
• Professional qualifications
• Business details for background screening
• Proof of licensing or registration

Annual re-verification applies to all active members.

6. Fees and Payment

• Verification Fee: £197 (one-time, non-refundable once submitted)
• Annual Membership: £200/year (£16.67/month billed annually)
• Optional Certificate Upgrade: £50 (custom branded display)
• Referral Reward: £100 per approved new professional

All prices are inclusive of all support and marketing tools. No VAT or hidden fees apply.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

• Verification and upgrade fees are non-refundable after submission
• Annual membership fees are non-refundable post-activation
• Members may cancel renewal before their next billing date via written notice

8. Reviews and Feedback

CosmediCheck promotes genuine client reviews. It is strictly forbidden to:

• Post fake or incentivised feedback
• Manipulate public perception through unauthorised reviews

Violations may result in suspension.

9. Platform Access and Use

We reserve the right to:

• Update or suspend parts of the platform
• Refuse or remove access for any breach of terms
• Modify features or service scope without notice

10. Third-Party Tools (Stripe)

CosmediCheck uses Stripe to process payments securely.

Stripe’s services are governed by their own terms: https://stripe.com/gb/legal

We are not responsible for Stripe’s handling of payment or data, and users are advised to review their privacy policy.

11. Intellectual Property

All branding, visuals, and platform tools are property of CosmediCheck Ltd.

Do not copy, redistribute, or modify materials without written consent.

12. Limitation of Liability

CosmediCheck is a directory platform only and:

• Does not perform or oversee treatments
• Is not liable for professional services provided by members
• Limits financial liability to fees paid for services

13. Force Majeure

We are not liable for disruptions caused by events beyond our control, including:

• Power outages
• Internet failure
• Regulatory restrictions
• Force majeure events (e.g. natural disasters)

14. Termination

We reserve the right to:

• Suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms
• Decline membership for non-compliance
• Enforce permanent removal for repeat violations

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Disputes shall be resolved exclusively through UK courts.

16. User Responsibilities

General users agree to:

• Use the directory respectfully and lawfully
• Avoid scraping, copying, or misusing listing data
• Understand that listings are not endorsements
