How Reviews Work
These policies govern how reviews are collected, moderated, and displayed across CosmediCheck.
Full Transparency
Every review submitted to CosmediCheck is displayed publicly. We never remove negative reviews unless they violate our content policy. Both positive and negative feedback is equally visible.
48-Hour Auto-Publish
All reviews are automatically published within 48 hours of submission. This time-bound moderation window ensures reviews cannot be indefinitely held and guarantees timely visibility for every submission.
No Pay-to-Suppress
Professionals cannot pay to remove, hide, or suppress reviews. Our platform treats all practitioners equally regardless of their membership tier. Review visibility is never influenced by payment.
Fair Moderation
Reviews are only moderated for genuinely inappropriate content such as hate speech, personal threats, or spam. Legitimate negative feedback about treatment experiences is always preserved.
Right of Reply
Practitioners can publicly respond to any review on their profile. Responses are visible to all visitors, ensuring both sides of the story are heard transparently.
Verified Reviews
We use two verification tiers. Verified Visit means the reviewer received an invitation link directly from the practitioner after a confirmed appointment — the highest level of trust. Verified Reviewer means the reviewer created and authenticated an account with CosmediCheck. Unlike platforms that accept anonymous reviews, all reviewers on CosmediCheck must register, giving every review a higher baseline of accountability.
Content Standards
Reviews must relate to genuine treatment experiences. We do not permit fabricated reviews, competitor sabotage, or incentivised feedback. Any review found in violation is flagged for investigation.
Equal Treatment
All professionals on our platform are subject to the same review policies. No practitioner receives preferential moderation treatment regardless of their standing or subscription.
Reviews Go Beyond Star Ratings
Our review system goes beyond a single star rating. Each reviewer rates their experience across eleven specific professional standards — including Informed Consent, Risk Explanation, Certified Products, Pain Management, and Patient Confidentiality — giving you a detailed breakdown of what actually matters in aesthetic and cosmetic treatments.
This multi-dimensional approach helps you identify practitioners who consistently perform well across every aspect of patient care, not just those who collect high overall ratings.

A note on our current data
Our platform is growing. Some practitioners listed on CosmediCheck currently have no reviews, and the statistics above reflect only reviews that have been verified and published. We are actively expanding our review coverage. In the meantime, every review on our platform has been checked by our moderation team before going live.
