How did you first get into your industry?
My journey into aesthetics comes from my passion for supporting and empowering women.
After experiencing a domestic violence relationship myself, I completely lost my identity, confidence and self-worth. I didn’t recognise the woman looking back at me in the mirror anymore.
During my healing journey, I began helping other women rebuild their lives and confidence. What I quickly realised was that so many women struggle with self-esteem, not just on the outside, but internally as well.
I’ve always loved beauty, makeup and psychology, and understanding how people think and feel. Aesthetics became the place where all of those passions came together. It gave me the opportunity to support women in rebuilding their confidence, reconnecting with themselves, and rediscovering the person they truly are.
For me, aesthetics is about far more than appearance. It’s about confidence, healing and helping women recognise themselves again.
What's your favourite thing about working in the industry?
The impact we can have on someone’s confidence is incredibly powerful. What I love most is the connection I build with my clients.
Taking the time to really get to know someone, understand their concerns and build trust is everything to me. When a client feels safe, heard and understood, the results go far beyond the treatment itself.
Seeing someone walk in feeling insecure or lacking confidence and then leave feeling empowered and proud of themselves is the most rewarding part of my work. I also love that the aesthetics industry is constantly evolving. There is always more to learn, new techniques to master and opportunities to grow, which allows me to continually develop my skills and provide the best possible care for my clients.
For me, aesthetics is about far more than appearance. It’s about confidence, healing and helping women recognise themselves again.
What's your favourite treatment to perform, and why?
I’m drawn to treatments that genuinely transform how someone feels about themselves.
I particularly enjoy the regenerative side of aesthetics, such as polynucleotides and skin boosters, because they focus on restoring skin health and improving skin quality in a natural way.
I also love the creative side of treatments like lip filler. It’s something I’ve developed a real passion for, and last year I felt so proud to receive an award for my Russian Lip technique.
Sometimes a woman has spent years feeling self-conscious about her smile because she feels she doesn’t have a top lip. Being able to restore balance and see her confidence grow afterwards is incredibly rewarding.
Other times it’s something small that has affected someone’s confidence for years, such as softening a chin dimple someone has been bullied about.
Those moments remind me that what we do isn’t just about aesthetics - it’s about helping women reclaim their confidence and recognise themselves again when they look in the mirror.
